On the occasion of the Luciano Berio Festival to be held in Radicondoli (SI) from 26 to 28 May 2023, the Centro Studi Luciano Berio is organising special piano and cello masterclasses held by Prof. Andrea Lucchesini and Prof. Claudio Pasceri.
The masterclasses will take place on 27 May 2023 in Radicondoli and will be dedicated to the performance practice of some works for piano and cello by Luciano Berio. They are addressed to young Italian and foreign musicians who already have pieces by Berio in their repertoire and/or who wish to take advantage of an opportunity to improve and deepen their knowledge with teachers highly specialised in this repertoire.
The masterclasses are open to musicians of all nationalities who are under 35 years of age on 31 December 2023.
Participants will be selected by a commission consisting of the two teachers plus internal members of the Centro Studi Luciano Berio. The professors reserve the right to indicate the two best musicians (one per instrument) for participation in an internal concert at the Festival Luciano Berio 2023 to be held in Radicondoli on 26 November 2023.
Applications must be submitted by 31 March 2023. The masterclasses are open to external auditors upon registration via e-mail (festival@lucianoberio.org) by 30 April 2023.
