As part of the\u00a0Reggia di Venaria\u2019s<\/strong>\u00a0program and in collaboration with the\u00a0Late Spring Music Festival<\/a><\/strong>, a masterclass will be held from\u00a0May 2 to 4, 2025<\/strong>, to mark the\u00a0100th anniversary of Luciano Berio\u2019s birth<\/strong>. The event will feature\u00a0Angela Ida De Benedictis<\/strong>\u00a0(musicologist and scientific director of the Centro Studi Luciano Berio),\u00a0Andrea Lucchesini<\/strong>\u00a0(piano), and\u00a0Claudio Pasceri<\/strong>\u00a0(cello), who will guide participants through Berio\u2019s solo\u00a0piano<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0cello<\/strong>\u00a0music. The repertoire will be explored from\u00a0poetic, technical-instrumental, and aesthetic perspectives<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The masterclass will focus on performance practice<\/strong> related to Berio\u2019s works for piano and cello, as well as the analysis of formal structuring processes<\/strong> in key pieces. These will serve as examples of a compositional approach that can be extended to his entire artistic trajectory<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This masterclass is intended for young Italian and international musicians<\/strong> who already have Berio\u2019s works in their repertoire<\/strong> and\/or wish to enhance their skills and deepen their understanding with highly specialized instructors<\/strong> in this field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
