Berio’s Concertino for 900presente – LAC Lugano
On March 13, 2025, at the Sala Teatro of LAC Lugano, ensemble900 joins forces with the Orchestra della Svizzera italiana for a symphonic program as part of Focus Berio 2025.
A young Berio, barely in his twenties and a student at the Milan Conservatory, composed Concertino, a piece that marked the end of his academic studies and reflected his first steps into the broader European musical landscape. Berio’s generation would pave the way for a constellation of young musicians who would embrace an increasingly global artistic vision.
