From July 6 through the end of September 2025, the Portuguese radio broadcaster Antena 2 will air a special series of the program Caleidoscópio devoted to the work and legacy of Italian composer and conductor Luciano Berio, as part of the celebrations marking the centenary of his birth on October 24.

Titled Há música e música – O legado de Luciano Berio (1925-2003) (There Is Music and Music – The Legacy of Luciano Berio (1925–2003)), this thirteen-episode series is curated by Filipa Magalhães, a researcher at the Centro de Estudos em Música (CESEM), and offers an in-depth exploration of the creative world of Luciano Berio, one of the most influential figures in twentieth-century contemporary music. The program’s title is inspired by the television series C’è musica & musica, conceived by Berio himself in 1972 and broadcast by the Italian national broadcaster RAI.
