Luciano Berio. Écrits sur la musique

The French translation of Luciano Berio’s Scritti sulla musica, edited by Angela Ida De Benedictis, has been published in the “La librairie” series of the Cité de la musique – Philharmonie de Paris.

The volume, titled Luciano Berio. Écrits sur la musique, includes essays, theoretical writings, lectures, and articles that explore all forms of music (from Monteverdi to the Beatles), the relationship between art, history, and society, as well as listening practices and radio research. It also reflects the polemical debates in which Berio took part and his tributes to fellow artists of the past and present—musicians, painters, and writers—among them his friends Umberto Eco and Italo Calvino.
